Frequently Asked Questions

Yes; but keeping more than one fish in a bowl is a gamble that hardly ever ends well.

When you keep 2 fish(es) in a bowl, you tend to feed more, and this means they’ll produce more waste, than usual.

As a consequence, there will be a faster build up of toxins that can suddenly kill any or both fish(es).

Keeping one fish in a bowl is the ideal practice.

Feed once every 2 days and make sure not to over feed. When in doubt, underfeed.

This usually depends on the type of aquarium you have.

If you own a fish tank, you’re better off doing 20-30% partial water changes every week, as opposed to letting your tank build up waste and get dirty before changing the water.

For a fish bowl, once in 2 weeks work, however, we advice partial water changes after a week.

If you have to go for a short trip, say a few days to 2 weeks; you can just leave the aquarium as it is. No need to feed for the days you won’t be there.

On the other hand, if you have to travel for a long time, you can ask someone to look after them for you.
